OBJECTIVES FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS...
By asking a lot of questions we can determine what exactly you would like to achieve during your time with us This starts long before you arrive in Kefalonia but also continues right up until the point you head home..
Now we know what you want to achieve and we obviously know how long we have got. Now we need to set the objectives for the week and ensure that we have planned sufficient challenges to make sure that you get as close as possible to achieving them.
In preparation for each of the challenges we first need to make sure that your knowledge base is at a level that you are in a position where you are comfortable and happy to get out there. This is the first part of the iterative cycle and one we will revisit many times.
As we are now in a position to get the theory in to practice, we can get out in the field with some clear objectives of we need to be returning with and equally importantly, what we plan on doing with the images on our return.
This part of the iterative cycle will always be group based. Usually sat outside around a large computer screen by the pool after the sun has left us for the day with the barbecue getting up to temperature and a glass of local wine in our hand. Or at one of the local tavernas.
This is the end goal and the reason you came to us. There is nothing deep about this kind of enlightenment. Simply that you have had the eureka moment for the objectives that you wanted to achieve. It also doesn't end here - We have a vibrant online community that will support you for years to come...
